About
I studied Computer Science and then switched to Information Management for my master's — a pivot that probably explains everything that came after. I spent a decade at Red Hat, growing from intern to Principal Software Quality Engineer to Associate Manager of an engineering team.
Two years ago I made the move into management and realised I wanted to go further - not just lead teams, but build things. I founded Kopec InnoTech s.r.o. with a simple thesis: small businesses are completely lost in the AI world right now, and that's a real opportunity to do useful work.
I'm building OtterSource and OtterSay in the open, consulting with companies on pragmatic AI adoption, and based in Prague while working globally. If any of that sounds interesting, I'd love to talk.

Technical lead for quality engineering across a major product area. Designed test strategies, mentored engineers, and contributed to cross-team standards. Heavy use of Python, test automation, and CI/CD infrastructure.

Grew from QE to Senior QE, deepening expertise in test automation, infrastructure testing, and DevOps practices. Contributed to multiple product releases and open source testing frameworks.

Joined as an intern while finishing a master's degree. Promoted to full-time engineer within a year — the start of a decade of growth at the same company.
